Our Mission

To serve the finest selection of unique, handcrafted draft beers, along with fresh creative food.

At Stout, we aspire to serve the new-style burger: house-ground beef cooked medium rare, organic ground chicken, or a quinoa-based veggie option, dressed with a variety of homemade toppings such as caramelized onions cooked down to the sweetness of maple syrup, smoky rosemary bacon, zesty lemon basil aioli, and roasted tomatoes. It will be worth dropping in for a Stout burger and a craft beer.

There's a genuine challenge when it comes to achieving balance while still making a statement. And the Shu burger stands tough to take it on, like a linebacker ready to stop a freight train dead in its tracks. And it does. Starting off with an intensely flavorful, high quality meat patty, blanketed with just the right amount of pepper Jack cheese to intensify your taste buds. Perfectly well measured - just like the kind of length that's enough to make it sexy, but not obscene. Then simplicity shows it's elegance by the ingredient that truly complements this ensamble - a bell pepper spread that binds it all together while contributing with the right amount of "sparkle" to make it stand out from the crowd. Trust me. It is unique. It is memorable. My personal favorite comes from this one being cooked pink (of course!) and also going for the unabashed nakedness of having it "protein-style". That is; no bread buns. Instead, it comes embedded in a bed of fresh arugula. And nothing could be better than having that naturally peppery arugula absorb some of the juices flowing form the righteous Shu. Heavenly. At least. Nirvana; more or less adequate. Tip No. 2 - Wash it down with a Curieux ale from the Oregonian master brewers at Allagash. You're in for a sensorial feast that will redefine your very definition of "Burgers & Beer"… forever. At least, it did so for me.
